Overview: Kelly Smith's Key Concerns

As a candidate, I have a clear vision for the future of Florida and I am committed to addressing the most pressing issues facing the state. In this list, we will explore some of the key issues that I am focused on and how I plan to tackle them. I will be prioritizing creating more living wage jobs, improving our schools, and making public safety - especially getting guns off the streets, a top priority. I have plans to zero in on the rights of women and voters, and the importance of land and water issues. I know what it takes to find solutions, navigate the complicated issues being faced, and get things done.
LIST OF ISSUES
Women's Rights

Women's rights are human rights. It's important to recognize and address the inequalities and discrimination that women face in all aspects of life. By advocating for and supporting women's rights, we can create a more just and equal society for all.

Voter's Rights

Voter's rights are crucial for our community as they ensure that every citizen has an equal opportunity to participate in the democratic process. Voter fraud, on the other hand, undermines the integrity of the electoral system and can have serious consequences. It is important for us to uphold the rights of voters and take measures to prevent voter fraud to ensure a fair and just election.

Gun Violence

As elected officials, it is our responsibility to address the issue of gun violence in our communities. We must work together to find solutions that prioritize the safety and well-being of our citizens. This includes implementing common-sense gun laws, investing in mental health resources, and addressing the root causes of violence.

Health Care

Health care is a crucial issue to be addressed. I will work towards implementing policies that prioritize preventative care, reduce healthcare costs, and improve the overall health of our community.

Land / Growth Issues

Florida's land growth issues have been a topic of concern for politicians for years. With the state's population continuing to grow, there is a need for sustainable development that balances economic growth with environmental protection. It's a complex issue that requires careful consideration and planning to ensure a prosperous future for Florida.

Flooding & Water Quality

Florida is a state that is particularly vulnerable to flooding due to its low elevation and proximity to the ocean. As such, it is important for us to prioritize measures that address flooding and water quality issues. By investing in infrastructure and implementing policies that protect water resources, politicians can help ensure the safety and well-being of their constituents, as well as the long-term sustainability of the state.

Education

Education provides individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to make informed decisions and contribute positively to society. Our team will prioritize education policies that can create a more educated and prosperous community, leading to a better future for all.

Florida Wild Life Corridor

Florida's land corridor is a vital part of the state's ecosystem, providing a pathway for wildlife and plant species to thrive. This greenway stretches from the Everglades to the Okefenokee Swamp, encompassing a diverse range of habitats and landscapes. By preserving and protecting this corridor, we can ensure a healthy and sustainable environment for generations to come.
